Standard Return & Cancellation Policy

Order Cancellations

General: All orders placed on items not in stock or that have a lead time to build will be subject to a 30% cancellation fee.  This fee will apply on all orders that have not been cancelled within 7 seven days of the original date of order placement.

Returns and Exchanges: All returns must be postmarked no later than 7 seven days after the delivery date. Returns and exchanges are subject to a 30% restocking charge and must be pre-authorized by Spartan Equipment.  In addition the item must be in new or same condition as shipped and must include all instructions, packaging and original packing material. Any damages to items returned will be deducted from return payment. If third party equipment financing was provided and used for purchasing goods absolutely no returns will be permitted once contracts have been executed and funding has been completed.  If customer elects to use equipment within the initial 7 days of receiving the whole-good product (attachment) sold and desires to return equipment purchased, there will be a deduction in the form of a daily rental rate for each day customer holds equipment in his possession. In this case Spartan Equipment and the purchaser would have had to agree to use our 7 seven day Money Back Guarantee program prior to the sale on goods.  There will be no returns on pre-owned, demoed products or special order items (no exceptions). Customer will pay all return shipping charges, even in the event that FREE shipping was offered at the time of order. Customer is also required to Include a copy of the packing list with all returns.

Original shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable. Returns must be pre-authorized by Spartan Equipment prior to accepting any goods on return. These amounts will be deducted from the original amount billed and the remaining balance will be credited and refunded by return check which will be mailed out within 15-30 business days of the goods being returned.

Returns Policy on Parts and Accessories
All parts and accessories returns will be subject to a 30% restocking fee. Any parts or accessories that are sold as is no returns will NOT be returnable under any circumstances.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply call 1-888-888-1085 or email us orders@spartanequipment.com for a return authorization and return address details. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Special Unloading Requirements When Shipping Via Truck Freight or Common Carrier: This item is shipped via "truck freight" (common carrier or flat-bed, not UPS). The truck must be able to access the place of delivery. Truck freight companies do NOT require their drivers to unload shipments. An additional "Lift Gate" fee will apply if the driver unloads the merchandise. Lift gate service simply means that the freight is lowered to the ground. It is the customer's responsibility to move the product after it has been lowered to the ground. It is the customer responsibility to call the shipping carrier and schedule an approximate time for delivery, at which time, you may request a "Lift Gate" (provided the weight and dimensions of the product fits the criteria for lift gate service) and arrange payment with Spartan Equipment. Please inspect all packages upon delivery. Any damages or shortages MUST be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery. Notify the carrier and Spartan Equipment immediately and we will assist you as fully as we can. Please retain a signed copy of the bill of lading for your records.

Incorrect Item: If you received an incorrect item that was shipped and deemed to be to the fault of Spartan Equipment no extra charges will be incurred. We will replace incorrect items and pay the additional shipping charge.

Customer Order Error: Incorrect customer orders may be returned or exchanged for the corrected item but will be subject to a 30% restocking charge. This does not apply to custom or special non-stocking items. In this case no returns will be permitted (no exceptions).  In addition customer will pay the additional shipping and handling charges to and from shipped to location. If Free shipping was offered at time of order, shipping fee will be assessed to and from customer location.  The replacement item must be for the same type of item or product that was originally ordered incorrectly.

Return Shipping Instructions: Return via prepaid Old Dominion, Con-Way, Estes, XPO, UPS, Fedex or US mail. Insure shipment for full value of purchase. Use original packaging. We are not responsible for packages lost during return shipping.

Sales Tax Sales tax is charged on Maryland instate orders if required by law and will not be refunded.

Shipping and Handling Charges: Shipping and handling charges are based on total price of your order. Oversized or heavy items may have an additional shipping cost. This charge may not be calculated until the order is being prepared. We will notify you if there is an increase in the shipping charge or your order prior to billing and shipping.

Shipment By Ground: We ship via Old Dominion, XPO Logistics, ESTES, UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, US Postal Service or Broker Hire Subcontractors in the continental US. Shipments to Alaska & Hawaii and International orders will have an additional shipping cost applied.

Delivery Time: Vary and for delivery of items not in the continental US, Allow additional time for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and International Orders.

Consolidated Shipments: Entire orders will be shipped together if possible.
